Description
This course provides the essential skills required to work as a professional security officer. Students will learn the legal boundaries of their authority, effective surveillance techniques, and the “soft skills” of communication and conflict de-escalation. A heavy emphasis is placed on patrol procedures, teaching students how to be a visible deterrent while identifying subtle risks that others might miss.
